07 Jul Sagicor Bank Partners With Dream Entertainment For Dream Weekend
Sagicor Bank is now the official bank of Dream Entertainment Limited’s five day summer music festival – Dream Weekend.
The two entities inked their partnership during a Memorandum of Understanding signing on Tuesday July 4, 2017 at Sagicor’s New Kingston Head Office.
This year will see the ninth staging of Dream Weekend, the five-day summer music festival held in Negril, from July 28 to August 1, 2017.
This partnership reinforces Sagicor Bank’s commitment to reaching its target market and interfacing with them in their various comfort zones. With both direct and indirect access to the over 30,000 patrons who participate in Dream Weekend, this opportunity gives Sagicor Bank a great advantage to leverage its brand, increase brand awareness and build brand loyalty.
According to Philip Armstrong, deputy CEO, Sagicor Bank, “At Sagicor we are always looking for strategic business partnerships and seeking innovative ways to achieve our business objectives, and this partnership with Dream Entertainment aligns perfectly with one of our main objectives of reaching the increasingly popular generation of Millennials (Generation Y)”.
Of the over 30,000 participants of Dream Weekend, more than half the patrons are between the ages 18 and 30 years old – the main target audience of the product and services offered by Sagicor Bank. Endorsing the partnership, Scott Dunn, managing director of Dream Entertainment said, “The team at Dream Entertainment is excited at this opportunity to have Sagicor Bank as our premier partner financial institution for our flagship event – Dream Weekend; we have no doubt that Sagicor’s involvement will add great value to an already world class event.”
“Sagicor Bank continues to find unique marketing opportunities to position the brand in the minds of consumers as the best financial institution of choice with an unmatched banking experience, and Dream Weekend provides another opportune platform for us to connect with our existing clientele, as well as potential clients,” said Ingrid Card, vice president, group marketing at Sagicor Group Jamaica.
