KINGSTON, Jamaica — Dream Entertainment Ltd, organiser of the annual getaway Dream Week, recently inked a deal with American online travel company Expedia Inc.

According to Scott Dunn, managing director of Dream Entertainment, the deal is “unprecedented” and will see the party series being advertised on the website expedia.com.

“The website’s users will be allowed to buy Appleton Special Dream Weekend tickets. The site will also feature listings from hotels in Negril and Montego Bay. The deal is supported, in part, by a contribution from the Jamaica Tourist Board,” Dunn told OBSERVER ONLINE.

Dream Weekend is scheduled for Negril on August 5-9.

Expedia Inc is the parent company to several global online travel brands including Hotels.com, Trivago, and Hotwire.com.

A total of 10 events are planned for Appleton Special Dream Weekend and will include a live concert, a soca party, ’90s jam and a hardcore sound clash.

Now in its sixth year, the series is expected to pull in more than 20,000 party faithful, many from New York, Toronto, London, and South Florida.
