Dream Entertainment – Press Release #1 2012

Dream Weekend 2012 to expand to 6 days with new events.

The annual, world renowned Dream Weekend normally takes place over the weekend that celebrates Emancipation Day in Jamaica. This year, for their fourth staging in Negril, boosted by local and international demand for even more of what they have to offer, Dream Entertainment has announced that the Dream Weekend has been extended from four to a rip-roaring six days in celebration of Jamaica’s 50th year of independence.

The brand will host its usual favourites; ‘Xtreme Wet and Wild’, ‘Daydreams’, ‘Yush’, ‘Smirnoff Xclusive’, ‘Twisted Spiritz’ and ‘Beer Vibes’ in addition to a plethora of brand new events which will be sure to attract a slew of newcomers as well as loyal “Dreamers” to Jamaica’s west end this August.

Dream Season Armbands will be made available as usual or patrons may opt to purchase the coveted ‘Diamond Band’. Introduced last year, this hot commodity not only includes accommodation in one of Negril’s premium, super all-inclusive resorts but also convenient shuttle service to and from the Dream events, a dedicated entrance

at each Dream event to avoid the crowd and of course a premium V.I.P. lounge at each Dream event.

The lead-up to the 2012 staging of the weeklong, aptly titled “The Dream Music Festival” will be carried by innovative and exciting multimedia technology, allowing supporters to share their DREAM experiences interactively and instantly with friends and family worldwide while creating a whole, new kind of social network.

“Dream,” as described by Kamal Bankay, who is in charge of Public Relations, “is not just a series of events, it’s a lifestyle”.Dream Entertainment Limited, the powerhouse behind the Festival promises endless satisfaction and fun with improved shuttle service, vast and hassle-free bars and pulsating entertainment all surrounded by a safe and secure 24-hour partying environment.

Dream 2012 will focus on “DESTINATION JAMAICA” and with that, season band and ticket holders can expect a festival that will rival the largest in the region. As for accommodation in the otherwise “sleepy town” of Negril and its surroundings, “we know that patrons are facing a challenge booking affordable rooms in Negril so Dream Entertainment is in dialogue with the JHTA Negril Chapter and travel agents to secure attractive room deals for our loyal patrons.

Dreamers who are interested in rooms may be added to our priority list by emailing their contact information to info@jamaicadreamweekend.com” notes Ron Burke, Marketing Director of the group. The Dream Weekend Music Festival 2012 is scheduled for August 1st to 6th in Negril, Jamaica
